Katarina is one of the youngest members of the England athletics Olympic team for London 2012. Her career started from primary school, where she broke a 29 years old record for the high jump at the Catholic Championship.  It was just her natural talented because she had no coaching ever at that time.  To see her natural talent in long jump, her mother takes her to the local athletics club, for training. She found her love for the heptathlon to the determination her desire to keep trying new activities. Katarina attended working with athletics coach Mike Holmes in 2008.

Her international career was started from 2009, where she won gold medal at World Youth Championships in Italy in the heptathlon. She became the world junior Champion, England Junior record holder, a recipient of an England Athletics Writer Association Award and nominee for the European Athletics Rising Star award in 2012, so that a year was wonderful year for Katarina.

She debut senior indoor championship in 2014, where she set record in the jump with an incredible jump of 1.96meters. Her continuous impress has seen in 2015 as well when she broke her own record high jump at the Trials in Sheffield. On 2015 she another set an indoor British Long jump record with a distance of 6.93 meters. Her excellent form is still continuous. She is the young and beautiful long jump diva as well.

Katarina was born on 9th January 1993 in Woolton, Merseyside, England. Her parents named Tracy Thompson and Ricardo Thompson, her father is from the Bahamas. Her father from Bahamas and mother from Britain so I think she is Afro-Bahamian, European ethnicity, Katarina is of mixed race.

She is not a married girl. There are rumors on internet related about her affair that she has fallen in love with Nick Bright, a presenter on BBC Radio 1xtra. The lady  doesn’t clear the 2.01m mark but she created new British record of 1.98m places her rigidly into first in the overall games. She bossing it in the heptathlon high jump (HHJ), but she won't won any medals in the 2016 Rio Olympics. She lost all her match in the 2016 Rio Olympics, besides of women's heptathlon 800meter; she won't reach final in other match or games. At 800meters women's heptathlon, the lady finished with 6th position where the competition won gold by the American athlete Heather Miller-Koch with 2:06:82 times and  silver went for Germania athlete Claudia Rath with 2:07:22 times and bronze by another British athlete Jessica Ennis-Hill with 2:09:07 times. Katarina finished the competitions with the time of 2:10:47 and hold 6th position, so won't won any medals in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
