As reported, Danny was unable to audit for under-declaring income tax and non-declaration of Capital Acquisitions Tax. Concerning the incident, Danny stated that he was recently governed by a revenue audit, and after figuring out the problems, he paid respective taxes, interests, and penalties.
Before, he paid €37,000 in tax interest and penalties for the under-declaration of tax and VAT as there were accounting issues that were spotted from 2016's audit. However, the fee pushed the bill over €1.2 million after his company was investigated by revenue for under-declaration of corporation tax, VAT, PAYE, PRSI, and USC.
