He came out in the open in 2009 when he was dating his gay partner since 1988, Richie Jackson. Even if he had a gay sexual orientation, he did believe in family and wanted to become a father.

It was back in 2000 when he and his partner Richie hired a surrogate mother to bear the child. Subsequently, the gene of Wong and Richie’s sister combined to give birth to twin sons named Boaz Dov and Jackson Foo Wong.

But after ninety minutes of birth, Boaz lost the life battle and departed due to twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome.

The most-awaited day of B.D. Wong didn’t take long to turn sour-sweet. At the same moment when he was happy with the arrival of his son Jackson, he was agonized with the loss of Boaz Dov.

When one of his twin sons, Boaz died after ninety minutes into the earth, he had everything to mourn. He then wrote a memoir incorporating his experiences of losing a son and surrogacy titled “Following Foo: The Electronic Adventures of The Chestnut Man.’

Break-up with Boyfriend Richie Jackson!

After dating for more than sixteen years and becoming a parent, differences rose between the gay couple.

Following irreconcilable differences, the couple decided to break up in 2004. Although they ended their relationship, they ended on good terms.

They still co-parent their only son Jackson. After the break-up, Jackson went on to get married to Jordon Roth in 2012.

After Wong’s break up, his linkups and affairs haven’t surfaced in media yet, so he is probably single of now and concentrating on his career.

B.D. Wong’s career took the flight in 1983 where he appeared in the lesser-known role in TV film called ‘No Big Deal.’ The talented actor became a force to reckon when he portrayed the role of Song Liling in Theatre show ‘M. Butterfly’ in the year 1988.

After his breathtaking performance, he became the first person to take away Drama Desk Award, Tony Award, Outer Critics Award, Theatre World Award, and Clarence Derwent Award with his single role in ‘M. Butterfly.’

The talented actor then went on to appear in many TV series including ‘Gotham,’ ‘Law and Order: SVU,’ ‘Oz,’ and many more. The ‘M. Butterfly’ fame actor then starred in 2015’s ‘Jurassic World’ and 2005’s ‘Stay.’ In 2017, he played a pivotal role in ‘The Space Between Us.’ He is set to return to the Jurassic World franchise in ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ which is set to premiere in 2018.
