Career and Progression:

Charles Osgood began his journalistic career during his university years from university's FM campus radio station, WFUV. He moved to WGMS (AM) and WGMS-FM, the classical music stations in Washington, D.C to serve as an announcer. After that, he was selected in the military to serve as an announcer for United States Army Band.

Moreover, he also worked for various radios station across which includes WEAM, WGMS, WPGC, and WJKF. The excellent works of Charles helped him to move in television in April 1962. He was promoted to Hartford by the general manager of Channel 18, WHCT. He transferred to ABC and worked as a writer and host of Flair Reports which covers human interest stories.

He appears as a host of The Osgood File and sometimes on Sunday Morning.
