Jason Day's Married Life: Has Two Children, Tragic Miscarriage!

Jason Day married waitress Ellie Harvey in 2009. The couple, who have been bound in a marital relationship for almost a decade, has two children.

When Jason met his wife Ellie for the first time, she was working as a waitress in Ohio. A year later, the couple started texting each other. Eventually, they fell in love and shared wedding vows in 2009. The pair then went for the PGA Tour together.

Jason and his wife welcomed their first child, a son named Dash in 2012. Further, in June 2015, the pair announced that they are expecting a second child via Twitter. Also, Ellie revealed that she was 19 weeks pregnant. The two were blessed with a second child, a baby daughter in 2015. 

On 3 November 2017, Ellie announced on Instagram that they are expecting their third child. However, the couple tragically lost their third child to miscarriage. On 12 December 2017, Ellie Instagrammed a photo with her daughter and revealed about her miscarriage to fans.

Jason Day's Family Life

Jason Day was raised by Irish-Australian father, Alvin, and Filipino mother, Adenil. At the age of eight, Jason moved to Rockhampton with his family. His father died of stomach cancer when Jason was 12-years old.

Jason's mom had lung cancer and hid it from Jason. After Jason knew about his mother's cancer, he almost left his career and started giving time to his mother. Though his mother battled through lung cancer and had 12 months to live, she had successful lung-cancer surgery in March 2017. PGA Tour's Ben Everill even tweeted Jason's statement.
