Michael Musto, who is known for his first-person opinionated columns, was fired by the Village Voice Media along with colleague Robert Sietsema and Michael Feingold in May 2013. Though the injury wasn’t too severe, it required surgery on his foot and will take some to recover from the accident. The author missed various events while he was recovering in the hospital.
