Tracie often flaunts picture with her co-star on her social media mentioning her as a girlfriend. She also shared her after party image with an onscreen lesbian partner on 29 October 2016.

However, Betsy has been married to her husband since 19 December 2017. But, Tracie tweeted on 1 September 2017 stating that she was lucky to play the lesbian characters. She said,

Later, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Howard University in 1997.
