Dustin Johnson is engaged to legendary hockey player Wayne Gretzky's daughter, Paulina Gretzky. The couple is in dating affair for more than five years.

The pro-golfer met Paulina's mother, Janet, in 2009 at the Hero World Challenge golf tournament. The pair became good friends. The affairs between the duo started three years later when Dustin and Paulina met up again at the World Challenge in 2012.

The couple officially had their first formal date when Paulina's parents were with them. After dating seven months, Dustin and his then-girlfriend got engaged in August 2013. Paulina shared a photo to mark her five years of togetherness with her partner on 5 January 2018.

The couple has two children. Dustin welcomed his first son, Tatum, on 19 January 2015. Three layers later, the couple announced the arrival of their second son, River (born on 12 June 2017).

Dustin and Paulina had no signs of getting married. In an Instagram post, which has been taken down, Paulina hinted that they are yet to plan their wedding. She said at the time of the birth of the second son,

“Can’t wait to start planning my wedding to this amazing man. Thank you for being the best dad to our boys…Happy Fathers Day @djohnsonpga,” Gretzky posted on Instagram.

Failed Drug Test; Gets Support From Paulina's Father 

Dustin was previously involved in three failed drug tests. He was convicted of consuming marijuana in 2009 and cocaine in 2012 and 2014. The player received a six-month PGA suspension after testing positive for cocaine in 2014.

But he has since things around to back on track and credits Paulina's father, Wayne, for guiding him to get out of the destructive habit. Wayne previously told Dustin to shape his life to continue his relationship with his daughter.
