Jarron Cumberland is an American basketball player playing for the Cincinnati Bearcats of the American Athletic Conference (AAC).
He stepped into the world of basketball from his childhood. He made this a profession when he matriculated in Wilmington High School. For his flawless playing at his high school, he was named "The most valuable player" of the 2016 Ohio-Kentucky All-Star game.

Later, he enrolled in Cincinnati in 2016 and played as a freshman from 2016 to 2017. There he played in 35 games by averaging 8.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 steals in 19.1 minutes. This led him to be named as The American's All-Rookie Team and selected as The American's Co-Sixth Man of the Year with SMU's Ben Emelogu.

Later, from 2017 to 2018, Jarron played as a sophomore. He had 36 games, averaging 11.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.0 steals in 28.9 minutes. He was ranked second on the team for averaging 14.0 points during five postseason games.

Likewise, during the season 2018-2019, he averaged 18.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.1 steals in 32.5 minutes.
