Kevin is married to Suzanna McCloud, whose nickname is Zani. In their long journey as a married couple, they have welcomed four children namely Hugo, Elsie, Grace, and Milo.

Kevin was born on 8 May 1959 in Bedfordshire, England, UK. He attended Corpus Christi College in Cambridge where he double majored in History of Art and Architecture.
Before settling in the housing industry, he had thought to build his career in the music industry; but decided to change his path to study languages at Cambridge University. After that, he changed his course to Philosophy before finally settling for art and architecture.
