Adil Ray is famous for his TV character Mr. Khan in the show “Citizen Khan” which is an Islamic comedy that shows the struggles of his Muslim family. Career and Progression:
The attendee of the University of Huddersfield joined Choice FM in 1995. He became the first full-time British South Asian when he bagged a job at Galaxy 105. After gaining experience in Century Radio, Radio Aire, and Ministry of Sound Radio, he finally made his way to BBC when he joined BBC Asian Network in 2002 as a presenter in late-night Adil Ray Show.
Before leaving BBC Asian Network, his show won best radio show at UK Asian Music Awards in 2008. In 2010, he appeared as a self-appointed community leader, Mr. Khan in BBC Two comedy Show “Bellamy’s People.” Since his brief in Bellamy’s People, he portrayed the same role in BBC Saltford Sitcom “Citizen Khan” since October 2011.

Adil is not only an actor in the show, but he also co-writes for the show as well. His broadcasting contribution led him to be appointed as OBE in 2016’s Queen’s Birthday.

“Citizen Khan” fame broadcaster is still not married and looking for someone who can make his family perfect. On being queried why he is not yet married, he stated that he would like to get married, but his parents strained relationship and divorce played a vital part in his quest to find a girl.
Adil also revealed that he subconsciously wanted to have a perfect family with an ideal wife to avoid those strains that his parents went through.
The BBC broadcaster has dated several women in the past, but his experience stopped him from crossing the line of married life.

The comedic actor took his first step on 26th April 1974 in Birmingham, England which makes his age 43. The English broadcaster was born to parents Raja Abdul Rehman and Nargis Din. According to his wiki, The Englishman belongs to mixed ethnicity as his father is a Pakistani and his mother is of Kenyan-Asian ancestry. His parents decided to split when Adil was just ten years old and suffered the strains for six more years when the divorce was finalized.
