Ali Siddiq is an American comedian whose claim to fame is quite different from that of a normal comedian. He honed and polished his comedy skills behind bars where he spent six long years of his life at the prison. Once he was out, he had already decided what he wanted to do in life.

During Ali's journey to comedy, he has debuted on BET’s One Mic Stand, Bill Bellamy’s Ladies Night Out Tour and few more. Unlike many other ex-inmates, Ali has turned his life around. He spends his time and effort, trying to make a difference in society and help those in need. He’s been involved in several charity efforts over the years.

After being arrested for the possession of drugs at the age of 19, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison, but he just spent six years. During those years, he polished and honed his skills, and once he was out, showcased his talents out to the world.

Over the years, Ali has gone on to headline multiple comedy clubs around the US and comedy festivals around the world where he showcases his ability to engage audiences and make them laugh uncontrollably.

He attended the world-famous ‘Just For Laughs’ Comedy Festival in Montreal where he completed a string of shows as a headline. He has also worked as a headlining act on The Tom Joyner Foundation Cruise four times and counting. And at the time of the New York Comedy Festival, Ali was named the winner of Comedy Central’s “Up Next” competition.
