Hailing from Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England, Alistair Appleton lights the birthday candle every year on 12 February. Born in 1970 to his parents Peter Appleton and Sally Appleton, he graduated from St. John’s Catholic School.

For further education, he attended Gonville & Caius College at the University of Cambridge and majored in the Degree of English Literature in 1988. Later, he completed his MA in advance psychotherapy from the Minster Centre, London, in 2014. He is also a licensed psychotherapist at Brighton.

During his college years, Alistair participated in singing in the chapel choir. He was even a member of the European Theatre Group at the university and also got featured in several acting stage productions.
