The journalist was married to an engineer named Christopher Dare at the age of 22 in 1967. She with her partner tied the wedding knot after five years of knowing each other. Angela Rippon met her first then-husband named Christoper Dare at YMCA dance when she was a young woman at the age of 17.

After more than two decades of the relationship, the married couple parted ways in 1990 as they filed for a divorce. 

After the divorce, Angela discovered that she was happy being single. In an interview with The Sun, she said that she is single and hinted that she will never get married. As she told,

“I suppose if I'm honest when your heart is broken it's painful and I don't want to go there again.”

However, she mentioned that she and her former husband are still a good friend. She revealed about her relationship with Christopher in an interview with Mail Online in October 2015 and admitted that she is friendly with the woman with whom Christopher lives. She further explained that she was in two more relationships, one lasted for 12 years and another for five years. 

As of now, Angela is single and has no children from her previous relationship; however, she has goddaughters.

At the age of 73, the reporter still has that unmatched attitude towards life. She strides in her tight trousers and high boots and says that she is never too old for leather. In an interview with the Mail Online, she said that there is no age limit to buy leather. She further adds that tag doesn't mention to be worn by young twenties only.
