Before his relationship with Janet, Drake was in a relationship with his ex-girlfriend Stevie Ryan. Their relationship was mostly kept under the limelight. The pair dated from around 2005 up until 2007.

When Drake & Josh co-star Josh Peck married his wife Paige O'Brien on 17 June 2017, he forgot to invite his co-star Drake Bell in the luxurious wedding ceremony. The next day, Drake took his Twitter to bash on Josh, and they later rolled wedding drama on Instagram.
During the end of June in 2017, Drake felt regret to have a raunchy dispute on social media with Josh and affirmed that he was building good terms with his co-star.
