Dustin Lance Black and his two-time Olympic Diver husband, Tom Daley welcomed their first baby boy named, Robert Ray Black-Daley on 27 June 2018.
Daley posted an Instagram post on 30 June 2018, a picture showing Robert's feet, with a caption,
"27/06/18. Welcome to the world our precious little Robbie Ray Black-Daley. The most magical moment of my life. The amount of love and joy you have brought into our life is immeasurable. Our precious son.

The pair had declared that they were awaiting their first baby via surrogacy through their Instagram post on Valentine's Day in 2018. Tom shared a picture with Dustin holding a sonogram picture of their baby.
The pair along with their toddler was photographed by the paparazzi when they were on their family vacation in Los Angeles, California in July 2018. Tom held his newly born tightly on his arms and was strolling around the street to return to their home.
Dustin had shared their family vacay IG snap with his husband and son on 11 July 2018. He also posted another picture of his husband and child on 1 August 2018, where they were seen sleeping. It was their first uploaded picture after their return back to their home from their fun filling trip.
Dustin and his husband, Tom named their baby Robert after Tom's late father, Robert Daley. Tom's father, Robert died of brain tumor in 2011.

The couple first met in 2013 at an industry event, where Tom made the initial move by typing Tom's phone number into his phone followed by a message to call him.
Tom came out as gay in December 2013 after admitting that he had been dating a man since the summer to his followers on YouTube. He also made a statement about his affair where he said,
It was love at first sight. I've never felt anything like it - and I made the first move.

Dustin and Tom made their first public appearance during an event at Battersea Power Station in May 2014.
The pair had also temporarily parted ways when Dustin found Tom exchanging sexy Snapchats confession with a Liverpool based man. After roughly seven months of the split, they reconciled their differences and got engaged in October 2015.

Dustin’s biological father walked away from his polio-stricken mother, Roseanna Bisch, with whom he had three sons Marcus, Dustin, and Todd. The screenplay writer's brother, Marcus passed away in January 2012 following a battle with cancer. His mother took her last breath in 2014 just two weeks after his partner's father's death anniversary. His husband, Tom supported for Dustin after the tragic loss.
Dustin's mother, Roseanne married her second husband, Merrill Durant Black in 1981. He and his brothers were later adopted by their stepfather and changed their surname to Black.
