English actress and model Georgia May Foote is popularly recognized as the runner-up of the BBC celebrity talent show, Strictly Come Dancing. Georgia May Foote caught up in a rumor about her engagement with her boyfriend of a year, Giovanni Pernice after she posted a picture of her with Giovanni flaunting a beautiful ring on her ring finger. After the news of the couple's engagement spread, Georgia took Twitter on 13 April 2017 to state that they aren't engaged.
She explained that though she wore a ring on her ring finger, it's not an engagement ring. She clarified that the ring signifies the love between boyfriend and girlfriend. Georgia explained,
"Right in Italy he says that when you get a girlfriend and a serious girlfriend you get a ring. So they don’t really do the engagement thing. You just get a ring and it’s like a nice commitment but they have to wear it on that finger.”
Georgia met Giovanni on "Strictly Come Dance" in 2015. At that time, she was still dating “Corrie” co-star Sean Ward, but their relationship ended in December 2015.
She had a good relationship with her boyfriend and even introduced him to her parents in May 2016.

Georgia May Foote and her boyfriend were in good term though they denied their engagement. However, their relationship didn't last till the end. Georgia had a tragic break-up with her boyfriend in August 2016, which was something like a divorce.
After being in a relationship for 18-months, Georgia announced she broke-up with Giovanni on a Twitter post on 27 August 2016. In the Twitter post, she wrote that the couple decided to split and no one forced them. Also, she explained that it was not an easy decision. Georgia and her ex-boyfriend are still friends.
