Ending a Two Decade Marriage in Divorce!
The high school sweetheart in 80’s Gina and Pat reunited to share their vows in 1994. The couple then starred in probably one of the most highly rated Food Network TV cooking show Down Home with Neelys and Road Tasted with the Neelys. Gina and Pat achieved a tremendous amount of exposure and popularity, but still, something was missing for her.
The reality star was already married before Pat and has a daughter named Spenser. After the split with her previous husband, she married Pat in 1994. The couple then welcomed their daughter Shelbi Neely
But after starring in the TV show since 2008, they started to feel the tension, and she even felt that she was dimming her own light to make his light shine. She also revealed that she didn’t want to divorce his husband, but she was left with no choice but to part ways.
After going for couple therapy on numerous occasions, the couple announced their divorce in September 2014 bringing an end to the 20 years of married life.
Even before the divorce, she began to transform herself the way she liked and lost more than 34 pounds. She then appeared in the series “Oprah: Where are They Now?” and revealed that she is now happy.

The food enthusiast is Memphis based restaurant owner along with her ex-husband Pat. She co-owns the Neely’s Bar-B-Que which is popular restaurant chain in the south. She is also a cookbook author and has writing credit in cookbook Down Home with the Neely’s.
