Also known as G.G, Golnesa was born on 27 November 1981 in Los Angeles, California. She is originally from Iran; her parents migrated to the United States in 1975.

Her father’s name is Mahmoud Gharachedaghi and he is an architect and the principal at GA Architecture and Planning. Similarly, her mother holds a job in Los Angeles textile and garment industry. Golnesa has an older sister- who is also an entrepreneur. Her sister runs multiple businesses- including real estate, fashion, and beauty.

Divorce From Husband

Golnesa has been divorced from her husband, Shalom Yeroushalmi, since January 2019. She announced the news via an Instagram post on 4 January 2019, in which she wrote, 

"Let me say this loud... HALLELUJAH!!! I am officially divorced!!!!!!! Married for 7 weeks and trying to get divorced for nearly 2 years. You tried to make lies about me. You tried to come for my money. You wanted to do everything to make me hurt. But my God is good and my attorney @attorneytous is a killer!!!"

It was Golnesa who filed for the divorce in May 2017, citing their irreconcilable differences. In the divorce settlement, she claimed they separated long before acknowledging the issue in public. However, it took them nearly two more years to finally get divorced. 

First Met, Wedding Details 

According to Heavy News, Golnesa and her ex-husband first met when they lived in the same building. The two soon grew romantic and got engaged. Shalom had proposed Golnesa with the help of Times Square billboards and a beautiful diamond ring for their engagement in 2016.

Later, they married in Los Angeles-based Albertson Wedding Chapel amid close friends and family members on 25 January 2017.

As of now, Golnesa is pregnant with a baby boy named Elijah. The child was conceived via a sperm donor.

She revealed the gender and name of the baby on the occasion of her baby shower held on 1 March 2020 at her home in Los Angeles.

She said the name is based on actor Elijah Wood, with whom Golnesa has been in love since she was young. However, she hasn't yet revealed the name of her baby father.
