The Voice contestant literally sang his way through the semifinal but couldn’t complete the two hurdles. But he stands firm on his pre-semifinals comments that if he goes home, then he will be happy. Because for being a non-professional singer in the church to ruling the hearts of many, he has achieved a lot.
The singer auditioned for season 12 The Voice and became an Instant hit as he made it to semifinals with team Gwen. His final song was Love Runs Out in the face off with Jesse Larson and Brennly Brown.
Hunter Plake who says that he is not saddened by his exit from the semi-finals is excited to work on his musical career more. In the meantime, he even promised that his song along with Dakota would come out soon in every music platform.
Concerning his promise, Hunter Plake wrote and produced the songs and also released them along with his brother, under the name Plake. The duo worked on getting their first single ready to release after Hunter left the show, The Voice. Following their hard work, they released 'Eden" as their debut single on 14 July 2017, which topped the pop charts at #41 and the all genres charts at #161.
In the same year, on 12 August, they released their second single, "Hurricane Lovers," which followed the great number of successes. And after one year on 4 May 2018, Plake released their third single entitled "Float."

Hunter Is Currently Homeless!!
The couple who was living in their new dream house for just one month was washed away by the Louisiana Flood in August 2016.
In flood, the singer lost his car, church, and house and now the couple currently shares home with Hunter’s parents. He is helping rebuild the church in his rare spare time.
Hunter is an optimistic person, and that is evident by the interview, in which he said that it was a difficult time for them, but they tried to have fun with it and make best out of it. The positivity of singer is beyond any laws as he said that he is glad that they didn’t lose anybody but they just lost things.
