The reality show is created for the aspiring Canadian entrepreneurs to pitch their business and investments under the guidance of prolific business people.
How Much Is Jim Treliving’s Net Worth?
The 77-year-old business mogul has assembled a whopping net worth of $700 million from his different business ventures since 1968. He has added a significant portion of earnings being the owner of Boston Pizza Home along with his business partner, George Melville. The business partners bought the resturant from then-owner Ron Coyle in 1983.
Jim earned the prime portion of his earnings after he divested 15 of his restaurants to other franchisees and converted one restaurant to a corporate training restaurant. His restaurants were opened to 95 different places in Western Canada with sales of more than $110 million by 1995.
The business expert elevates his remuneration from his successful investments ventures including real estate developments, sports, and entertainment. He summons a high return as the chairman of an entertainment company, Entertainment Corporation, which owned the now-defunct Central Hockey League.

Previous Relationships & His Ex-Wife's Death
Previously, Jim wedded a woman named Tracy. In an interview for The London Free Press in 2013, Jim credited his second wife, Tracy, who convinced him to be a part of an entrepreneurial show explaining to him that it would be great for their chain restaurant.
Jim's first wife was late Elaine Lorraine Treliving with whom he shares two children, a son named Brad Treliving and a daughter, Cheryl Treliving.
Jim’s son, Brad currently works as the general manager for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL). Brad was also a former professional ice hockey defenceman, in 1996. His daughter, Cheryl helms the President post of their family business, Treliving Management Services Limited.

Family Life: Father's Objection Regarding Jim's Planning
Jims’ father was not impressed with his son's plan to quit his safe job as a Policeman with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He wasn’t keen on his son’s scheme to open an Italian restaurant and leave a government job from where he would get a pension.
But his father had always taught him to look upon bigger pictures in life. Jim also learned from his dad that a person's success is measured by the wellness an individual creates to bring health and happiness for their family and friends. Likewise, he also learned to work for the welfare of his family.
