John Lloyd Young from Broadway's Jersey Boys is known as the first American actor to win the 2006 Tony Award in musical, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Theatre World Awards for his type-cast role of Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys. He faced the most tragic life event at an early age; he lost his mother when he was only at the age of two.
But somehow, Lloyd managed to be a better person rather than being atrocious, like most people turn to be in the absence of their parent's guidance. Has very few acting debuts but, his promising acting led him to notoriety in a short time.
Dating Girlfriend- Married?
The Tony Award winner John moved to Jersey City in 2006 along with his movie preview Jersey Boys from Brooklyn. When asked what was the reason behind, he frankly answered it’s for the love of his girlfriend of two years, Alison Franck, who moved to the city for about four years.
Unfortunately, soon, the undeniable love between the two faded and with no delay, in 2008, John moved ahead and started dating Lea Michele, his co-star of the series Glee. Yet again, the relationship couldn't turn into a fairytale, and sadly, they broke up along with his role in the first season of Glee as he was making a guest appearance on the show.
Lloyd could have become a recurring character in the show, but in an interview, he clearly said he didn't see himself in the show soon again because his ex-girlfriend was still in the show.

After his split from Lea, the 44-years-old actor John wasn't caught to any lady whom people would call his partner. He seems to be dating nobody and is assumed to be still single in 2019. Currently, he is yet to get married.
Gay?
Along with his greatest achievement of winning a Tony Award, John must have received many offers and roles from many reputed productions. However, he decided to go for a distinctive role he has never done before. He agreed to typecast the lead character as gay in the comedy film “Oy Vey My Son Is Gay,” the screenplay which gained many awards and appreciation.
The film is all about the reaction of parents and close ones when the common guy turns out to be gay unexpectedly.

Family
Born in the USA on 4 July 1975, John is a child of military father Karl and late mother Rosemarie, who died in 1977 due to Cystic fibrosis. At the time of his mom's death, John was only two years old. Luckily, his father did all he could to raise him playing both roles as a father and a mother.
However, Karl didn't need to take much burden of both parents for long. He remarried with Gail, who loved and encouraged John in singing and other activities. It wouldn’t be unjust to credit her for John being in the place he is today.
John, who is achieving the height of success, stands 5' 7½" (1.71 m) tall.

The actor, who came to limelight from a single film Jersey Boy, has made a record in the history of Hollywood by being the first actor to win the Tony Award in the Musical.
