Children at his age usually spend their day playing video games or watching their favorite cartoon, but this boy is different and enjoys time in practice hall to bring an edge to his already incredible dancing skill. JT Church is a dancer who specializes in Jazz, and contemporary genre became everyone’s sweet heart when he performed on the big stage of So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation which is the 13th edition of the popular franchise on FOX.
The Next Generation Superstar!
The trainee from the Gainesville Dance Center, Virginia moved the judges and fans alike when he performed his trademark jazz and contemporary dance moves in So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation in 2016. The young dancer started dancing at the age of five and notched up various titles before making his way in SYTYCD.
He received guidelines and mentorship from none other than Robert Roldon who himself became 2nd runner up in the third season of SYTYCD. At such a young age, the dancer has evolved into the pro and has mastered his dancing skills. His dancing abilities impressed the judges in SYTYCD and claimed the second position where Leon “Kida” Burns came out victorious.
Supportive Family is His Strength!
It’s almost impossible to achieve something when you don’t have the support from your family. Well, JT has his supportive family behind his back and saw his rapid progression much to their delight. The young superstar is still in his early teens and needs nourishment for his family to progress further and sharpen his skill as a dancer and more importantly as a human being.
JT, who specializes in mastering difficult moves, is rarely seen in gossip world which helped him to be named The 2016 NUVO Mini Male Breakout Artist of the Year.
The Jazz master studies at the Highland school and on 11th July 2016, he thanked his school for the support and votes that night. He also added that his school rocks.
