Lura’s husband, Josh, is a former baseball player- who played for Colorado Rockies from 2012 to 2014. He was also affiliated with the Boston Red Sox from 2015 to 2017.

Laura was born as Laura McKeeman on 2nd October 1988 in St. Petersburg, Florida to mother Deborah McKeeman. During her childhood, she was interested in doing make-up and dancing. She had also joined a ballet class when she was a kid.
Laura attended Celebration High School in Kissimmee. Later, she matriculated at the University of Florida in Gainesville and received a degree in Broadcasting Journalism.
