Lauren and Mike got married before heading for the prison for several tax charges. He and his brother Marc were found guilty for invading taxes on an estimated $9 million income. They were charged with eight months of prison serving and addition to that two years of supervised release after serving their time in prison. His brother Marc even admitted to preparing a fraudulent tax return and was sentenced to two years in prison.
After serving eight months, 500 hours of community service and paying $10000 fine, he was released on September 2019.
