PBS NewsHour correspondent is a married woman and is the mother of an adorable son. It has been ten years since she shared her vows with husband and has shown no intent to break that promises.

Lisa married her dream man, named Jason Desjardins on 6th October 2007 and recently celebrated their tenth anniversary. On their anniversary, she tweeted that:

"SO LUCKY - I married this amazing man ten years ago today. Maybe not Twitter talk - but feeling a bit giddy in love tonight."

Their happiness knew no boundary when they welcomed the newest member of their family. She announced the arrival of their baby son named Maximo Maurice on 4th March 2016 where she was seen holding a baby boy with her husband.

Recently on early September, the family of three was spotted on vacation in London. Lisa shared the glimpses of the memorable trip on social media. She uploaded the pictures while hiking in the mountains of Edinburgh on 4th September 2017.

Career as PBS correspondent:

The prodigy of The College of William and Mary was known for her humorous avatar. After getting her graduation from Northwestern University- Medill School of Journalism, she worked as a freelance reporter for Reuters News Agency. After getting a load of experience in WIS-TV and Associated Press, she took her most significant stride when she became the correspondent for CNN and CNN Radio in September 2005.

The talented correspondent saw the growth of fans with every passing minute, but during an overhaul in CNN, she lost her job. In spite leaving her beloved job, she didn’t miss the humor and posted a humorous feedback video which went viral on social media.

After her stay was cut short in CNN, she became the correspondent for PBS NewsHour which recognized her ability. She joined PBS in October 2014, but before the end of one year in the job, she got promoted to Political Director which speaks volume about her ability.
