Career and Progression:

After completing her Master’s degree, she started her career in journalism working as the freelance journalist for the BBC World Service and Voice of America. In the cou8rse of a job, she traveled to Cuba, Syria, Panama and European countries as well. She then became a producer at the Associated Press Television News where she would later work in the radio division.

After returning from Iraq covering the invasion, she joined National Public Radio (NPR) as the Mexico City Bureau Chief. She returned to Baghdad in 2008 and covered the news for over a year. She was also one of the first reporters to report from Eastern Libya and reported from rebel-held Benghazi. She became the host of the NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday in January 2017.

Who is Lulu’s Husband?

She is the person who keeps on traveling all over the places and barely finds any time for herself. It might have changed now, but that was the most of her life. In such conditions, it’s hard to imagine of getting married to someone and settle down.

However, it seems that she didn’t have that much of difficulty in finding the person with whom she could spend her life with. In the course of her job, she met the fellow reporter James Hider, and it didn’t take long for to realize that he was the man for her. They would soon get married and have been on several projects together.

Her husband works for The Times of London and once the similarity between the quotes in articles for their respective channels resulted in some conflict of interest but didn’t cause anything big. It was just a coincidence, and they hadn’t shared information. The family has a daughter about whom they frequently share adorable details on Twitter.
