Mark Labbett Married His Second Cousin; Wife Is 27-Years Younger Than Him!

Mark Labbett got married to German-speaking artist and illustrator, Katie Labbett on 11 October 2014. Talking about their children, the pair is parents to a son.

During Mark and his wife, Katie's appearance on ITV's Loose Women in August 2017, Mark revealed about their relationship. In the show, he gushed that the two came together due to a misunderstanding.

In the show, Mark revealed that he was mistakenly married to his second cousin and he was unaware of it before marriage. He said,

'It wasn't something we were aware of at the time its just one of those things that happened.'

Also, he said that he was single for so long that he was getting used to living as a bachelor. After Mark shared wedding vows with Katie, his one of the tough challenges was adapting himself to being with someone else. Even his couple of friends pointed his biggest challenge as adjusting with his partner.

Mark, who is 27 years older than his wife Katie, said that he is still struggling to adjust his married life and is trying his best. However, Mark's wife is also working to make their relationship even stronger.

Mark completed his Master of Arts degree from Exeter College, Oxford in mathematics. He also earned his Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in secondary education from the University of Exeter. Mark, who stands at the height of 6' 6" (1.98 meters), belongs to white ethnicity.
