The sports announcer started his career as Riverside Park Speedway announcer while studying at the University of Harvard. He gained loads of experience as he completed 15 years stay in MRN Radio which is a NASCAR’s Radio Network. He joined CBS as the pit reporter in June 1983 with Ken Squier and Ned Jarrett.
He then launched The Nashville Network’s (TNN) NASCAR coverage in 1991. He later joined Fox Sports as the lead announcer for Formula One coverage of Fox Sports Net.
