Together, the producer and her husband are fortunate to be blessed with two children: a son and a daughter. Mona’s son named Justin was born in 1998.

Later, her daughter, Jordan, arrived in 2004.

Career Information

Mona began working for a developing firm- where she managed the office and served graphic designers.

Later, she joined Radio City Music Hall, which got her a chance to interact with celebrities and performers. 

While she was working for Radio City Music Hall, Mona joined a dance class. There, she met a group of women- who owned a dance company named Duntori. At that time, those women were signed to Select Records and managed by a group based in Brooklyn called TrackMasters.

After meeting those women, Mona’s career in the entertainment field began as she was approached by TrackMasters to work as their manager. As a result, she got to work with Chris Lighty.

Soon after, Mona co-founded the company Violator Entertainment with Chris Lighty.

Similarly, she did a show called Road To Stardom for UPN in 2005. Later, she founded her own company Monami Entertainment in 2008- which manages artists and produces projects for television & film.
