Nadia Bauri gained the notoriety with her typecasted role, Beyonce in the 2006 Ghanian film Beyonce: The President’s Daughter. He charismatic and jaw-dropping portrayal became a major hit and shook the whole of Africa. The film earned her a life long popularity and led her to the Nollywood from Ghallywood.

Nadia, who is widely renowned as a Ghanaian actress, was born on 21 November 1982 in Sekondi-Takoradi, Ghana. As stated by sources, she was born to a Lebanese father and a Ghanaian mother. Therefore, she belongs to both Ghanaian and Lebanese ethnicity.
But sadly, this actress and her mother were abandoned by her biological father. So, her mother re-married another man named Alhaji Sidiko Bauri, a musician and a vice president of IFM. Despite being the step-father, he adopted and raised Nadia as his child.

Nadia grew up in the Bauri family with her five other siblings. Amongst them, her elder sister Shaida is a former 2002 Miss Ghana and has remained a top finalist in the Miss World beauty pageant.
