After joining ESPN, Russillo worked as a sportscaster in Boston, Mass, where he was a CSN studio host an NBA expert. Earlier the man was a play-by-play reporter of the Trenton, the Boston Red Sox Double-A team.

After completing graduation, Ryen started his career working in Sporting News Radio-affiliated WWZN radio station from 2003 to 2005. Later on, he moved to WBCN, where he served as a post-game commentary for the NFL team, New England Patriots.

Abrupt Exit From ESPN!

The longtime host, Ryen Rusillo decided to leave ESPN Radio following his search for better opportunities. In a video shared by Big Lead, Ryen explained that he couldn’t grow and become contended while working for the station. He said,

“I don’t have a lot of a life now. I don’t really have any balance. I’d be lying if I told you I was super happy lately. I know people who know me really well here, I don’t think they’re entirely surprised by this. So it would have to be something where I also felt like I was growing creatively outside of ESPN Radio — some other entities … I don’t know if that was going to happen.”

He will continue to host the ESPN podcast through 2018, but his show, ‘The Ryen Russillo Show’ will air for the last time on 22 December.
