A Glimpse of Her Family: Fulfills Dying Wish Of Mother
Tanya shares an affectionate relationship with her family, mostly with her mother who died 16 years ago. Her mother wanted to be a donor but couldn’t be one.
But, her loving daughter Tanya fulfilled her dying wish by donating a kidney. She even shared her story through WCPO-TV to inform people that organ donation is something very important. She hopes that she gave people someone to look to, pony to and say, "Hey, she did this, and she's doing just fine. Maybe I will too."
Tanya donated her kidney on 30 September 2011 to The Christ Hospital Health Network. Back in 2015, she took Facebook to remind everyone that she is perfectly healthy and there is nothing wrong with her.
Besides her mother, she was really close to her sister too. Back in January 2017, Tanya shared a picture of her with her sister from probably 1986 on her Facebook and stated that the photo was taken when she spent a month in Asia, touring Hong Kong and Tokyo and a couple of weeks in the Philippines with her family where her mother grew up.
