Sam Bradford was born on November 8, 1987, in Oklahoma City as the son of Kent and Martha Bradford.

He attended Putnam City North High school and later studied at the University Of Oklahoma under an athletic scholarship. 

Sam is the first person from Cherokee Nation to start at quarterback in Division I. He also set the record for most completions by a rookie in his first year at NFL.
