She started her career in presenting in the year 1995 when she was just at the age of 15. The 1st program she presented was GMTV’s children’s program called ‘The Disney Club. After continuing the show for a few years, she left it in the year 2000 to continue her other projects like Draw Your Toons and Mouse that aimed at encouraging children to use computers. She presented the 2nd series of ‘Love Island’ in 2006 and also The X Factor spins off the program and The Xtra Factor in 2007. She has appeared as the team captain on the ITV2 comedy show called ‘Celebrity Juice.’ She moved to mainstream broadcasting in 2003. She had hosted parts of the ‘Red Nose Day’ telethon for comic relief in the years 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2011 respectively.

She moved to the USA to host ‘The Guinness Book of Records’- live and also had presented parts of the BBC’s coverage of ‘Eurovision Song Contest’ held in Athens, Greece. She joined BBC Radio in September 2005 to present the early morning slot. On 16th of July, 2009, it was announced that Cotton is the new presenter of BBC Radio 1’s weekday morning show. She also wrote a book called ‘The Best Friends Guide to Life’ along with Holly Willoughby which was later published in October 2010.

As reported, Jesse proposed her on the occasion of her 29th birthday and then they drifted their relationship further. Although they shared their romance, their bond could not last for long. After Fearne's separation with boyfriend, she moved into another relationship and started dating the son of the classic rock star, Ronnie Woods (from The Rolling Stones), Jesse James Wood, who is also a guitarist and a model. Fearne Cotton was born in Northwood, London, England, in 1981 and she celebrates her birthday on 3 September. Her parents, Lyn and Mick Cotton raised her in Eastcote, Hillingdon where she attended Haydon School. She studied Art at A-Level which she used while presenting the series ‘Draw Your Own Toons’. She is an animal lover and piscatorial. 

She also has a younger brother, Jamie Cotton. Her mother worked in alternative therapy and her father was a sign writer for events like Live Aid. She had always been fond of tattoos. She herself reported that she has 11 tattoos over her whole body among which the most notable is a fern leaf.
