Pete Bailey was born in Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands in 1980 and he celebrates his birthday on 16 September. He landed an internship at the village voice in New York City during his junior year where he investigated a warehouse used by former New York Mayor, Rudy Giuliani. He later attended the University of Delaware and graduated with a degree in English with a concentration in journalism.
