Similarly, he enjoyed the sophisticated life with his father, Hugh Hefner, an American businessman and the magazine publisher, who had an estimated fortune of $50 Million. The late businessman who took a bank loan $600, and raised $8,000 from 45 investors, including $1,000 from his mother, launched an American men's lifestyle and entertainment magazine, Playboy in 1953. And needless to say, it was a masterstroke.

Back in a time when Playboy was at the peak of its success, Hugh enjoyed the wealth of $200 million, but eventually, the company didn't perform well with the diminished sales record of 80% Playboy's stock price decrease.

Later after his death in 2017, the collection of his items were auctioned for the charity including his vintage Underwood Standard Portable typewriter, which he used for the publication of the first copy of Playboy magazine worth of $160,000.

After the death of his father, he leaves behind his legacy in Playboy and four children, David, Cooper, Marston, and Christie. And there have been a lot of speculations about his heir, and many believe that current Playboy CCO Cooper might edge his siblings to the empire. However, late Playboy supremo made sure, he chooses the best heir. He has reportedly mentioned a clause in his will, which states that the beneficiaries should be miles away from drugs and alcohol.
