The American talent agent was born on 4 February 1965 in Iowa Falls, Iowa, USA. He stands approximately 1.70meters (5ft 7 inch) tall.
Son of parents, father John Patrick Whitesell and mother, Patricia Whitesell, Patrick is one of six children. He comes from a quite accomplished family, his siblings, brothers, are associated with either entertainment or sports industry. His brother Sean Whitesell is film and television actor, Christopher Whitesell is a writer, Tom Whitesell & James Whitesell are basketball coaches, and John Whitesell is a director.
The Co-CEO of WME completed his high school education from Iowa High School in 1983 and later graduated from Luther College after finishing a college degree in 1987.
Patrick moved to L.A after graduation and worked at InterTalent, a talent agency. He made an effort to climb his way to the top in the talent management sector and worked there from 1990 to 1992. He later left the company and joined the United Talent Agency(UTA) and worked in the company from 1992 to 1995.
After three years with UTA, he served the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) as it's talent department’s head. He was part of the company for five years until he left to become a partner at Endeavor Talent Agency in 2001.
Later, Patrick, along with Endeavor co-founder, merged with the William Morris Agency(WMA) and formed William Morris Endeavor Entertainment LLC (WME) on 27 May 2009.
The WME owns diverse artist & sports personalities as well as the Ultimate Fighting Championship(UFC) and also the annual beauty pageant contest Miss Universe. The company also represent The National Hockey League and The National Football League(NFL), biggest sports enterprises in the country.

Afterward, they began relishing wonderful relationship and extended their family with two children, Evan Whitesell (born on 22 June 2006), daughter Eleanor Patricia Whitesell(born on 15 January 2008).
