Born as a Puerto Rican, Barbara Bermudo got to follow her passion and pursued a Journalism career in America. In the country dominated by the English language, she stood out of the crowd by hosting in the Spanish Language.
The host worked for Univision as a co-host for Primer Impacto. Apart from the show, she also appeared on the big screens with movies like Chasing Pappi.
Fired From Univision
Viewers were shocked when they did not see Barabara on the screens of “Primer Impacto.” The journalist was said to be fired from the Univision for demanding more pay. It was reported that she demanded to raise her salary by 35%, which added to a million dollar per year.
It was also said that she disappeared from the show because she was not in right term with her boss Daniel Coronel. She was not happy with Daniel after he fired Barbara’s husband, Mario from the local Univision affiliate in Miami.
However, she has not yet confirmed the reports and Univision has also opted to keep the information away from the media.

Now, she has started a business of her own. After starting her business, she is planning to make a come back on the small screens. Speaking in an interview, she has said she could not get into details of her new television project but she has assured it to be different and refreshing, and she is waiting until her dreams turn into reality.

After leaving the channel, she is making money from her own business. She started a product line for girls and women that includes clothing, accessories, and shoes in 2013. The company is named after her three daughters as Cami.
She posted a video showing the accessories which were necklace, bracelets, and pendants with portrays of kids sparkling on them.
Apart from her accessory products, her shoe line is also getting popular. She tries her best to keep the designs comfortable as well as stylish.

The Guaynabo native was born in 1975 and marks her birthday on June 5. Barbara, age 43, was born to a Puerto Rican mother and a Cuban father.
The host is married to Mario Andres Moreno who was also the former employee in the Univision. The couple shared their vows on 29th November 2008. The ten years of a married couple is raising three daughters Mia, Camila, and Sophia.
