Bruce Buffer was born to his parents Joe and Connie Buffer. He is the younger half-brother of Michael Buffer. His brother is an American ring announcer known for his trademark line "Let's get ready to rumble." The Buffer brothers grew up separately in different places. They only came to know about each other as half-brothers when Bruce was 30 and Michael was in his 40s. 

Both of them were offspring of the father, but only Bruce was raised by Joe. After Michael's biological parents' got divorced, he grew up with foster parents.

As Michael started gaining fame working for some of boxing's most remarkable events, Bruce began to notice there was some similarity between them. During a car ride, his father told him that he’d been married before marrying his mom and he also had a child. The child was none other than Michael Buffer. The brothers connected after Joe made contact with him following his TV appearance.

Michael married his third wife, Christine Prado in 2008 and is relishing a strong bond.
