The host of HGTV, Casey, has been married to American footballer Clay Mathews III for more than five years.

Although they wanted to keep their relationship private, their intimate love was spotted for the first time at a National Hockey League game in 2013. 

Two years later, the couple exchanged their wedding vows in July 2015.

Casey’s journey to becoming one of the famous interior designers began in the year 1978.

Her career projectile was filled with curves as she graduated from George Mason University with a degree in computer graphics design. She wanted to do more in the field, so she was looking for other academic ventures to sharpening her skills and expertise. Then, her passion for interior design led her to join the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. 

And before becoming a full-time interior designer, she worked on minor projects for her family and relatives, gaining all the experiences she could. 

For closer observation, she started her corporate design career with Hirsch Bender Associates. She has worked with the company for around three years since 2006.   

She then put the paddle on her creative designing world and worked at some of the top hospitality design firms before founding her design firm along with two colleagues. Her illustrious portfolios include SLS Miami, the Redbury, and Borgata.

Her creative force is evident from the show ‘Design Star,' where she finished her fine run after entering the Top 3. Though she didn't win the competition, her style and performance drew a lot of attention from HGTV's managerial.

She was offered a job on the HGTV network in 2001 as the host of Design on a Dime; she was a long-running host for the series. She then appeared in the show 'Hotel Impossible' between 2012-2014 as a designer.
