After a month of their pregnancy announcement, his wife Joy-Anna suffered a miscarriage in late June 2019. The Counting On star disclosed the tragic news via Instagram on 4 July 2019 where he pondered the feeling of sorrow in the caption. A week ago, they lost their baby after Joy faced a miscarriage and the baby was stillborn.
The couple had gone in for their 20-week ultrasound and gender was revealed. The lovebirds had already chosen a name for their unborn daughter as Annabell Elise; however, things did not go right with Austin's family.
Their First Child, Gideon
The couple welcomed their first child, Gideon Martyn Forsyth on February 23, 2018, at 3:39 pm. It has been four days since the son took his first breath, and there's nothing but happiness and joy in the life of his parents.
Joy-Anna, on February 26, uploaded a picture of their little bundle of joy and revealed his weight and length as 10lbs and 22 inches.

Moreover, Joy-Anna announced the news about her pregnancy in August 2017 through a video posted on TLC Network where she expressed her happiness as,
"We're so happy and thankful to announce that we're expecting a baby! Every child is such a precious gift from God. I'm most looking forward to watching Austin as a dad and raising children together with him,"
