FOX News sports anchor Lou Canellis and his wife Monica have a goal to help the childless couple who doesn't have kids. The couple knew that Monica couldn't bear her biological child on her own and as a woman, she became emotional to accept her fate. When they went towards the hospital in the hope to adopt a child, the fertility doctors encouraged them for surrogacy, not for adoption.

The childless couple had a sense of relief after they knew about surrogacy and did gestational surrogacy. The surrogate mother became ready to carry the baby using a donor egg and Lou's sperm. With the help of a gestational surrogate, Lou and his wife Monica welcomed their baby girl named Georgia Kailani Canellis in May 2018. They prefer to call their little bundle of joy with a name of 'Gia.'

The sportscaster is a proud father and often gushes about his little daughter on social media. During the late January 2019 when Pizza Hut used the adorable little Gia in its national advertisement, Lou became gratified towards his first born child who is the 'official pizza of the Super Bowl.'

He and Monica are married since June 2005. During his decade anniversary on 11 June 2015, the Oak Lawn native shared their wedding throwback picture and labeled his wife as his 'partner in crime, best friend, and soulmate.' Lou gushed that the couple went through life struggles and his wife had shown him what it means to be a partner.

His wife Monica worked in the real estate business and served as an executive assistant in the music industry. She was referred to as a social planner, and the Chicago native returned to her hometown from Atlanta setting the groundwork for real estate. The real estate developer has involved herself in social and charitable organizations like 'Stimulus Social Club.' With Lou and her daughter Gia, the family-of-three are residing in the Museum Park area of the South Loop.
