Moreover, the Scottish politician was engaged to be married to Louise. However, just five months after their engagement, the lesbian couples decided to call off their relationship and had their split in December 2016. Louise, who was one-year junior to Keiza, met each other in a house party in 2008 and stayed in a flat in Edinburgh. The estranged duo had their engagement in Port de Soller, Majorca in August 2016. The iTV contestant Keiza was together with her fiancee Louise for almost nine years.

After her split with her longtime partner, Kezia started dating an SNP politician, Ms. Gilruth. The couple, who inaugurated their romance in March 2017, addressed their relationship on a joint statement in July 2017 where they said:
We don’t consider this to be ‘news’ – but we appreciate others might and we want to go about our daily lives normally. We would like to thank our friends, family and colleagues for their kindness over the past few months and for their love and support. We’d politely ask that our privacy is respected because while we are both politicians, we are also human beings – in a new relationship, which we cherish.”

The lesbian duo became friends on a cross-party politics trip during the summer of 2016. Her partner Gilruth is a former teacher and a Parliamentary liaison officer of John Swinney.
Although she dated women in the past, Keiza has yet to reveal whether or not she dated men in the past. As of October 2018, the Scottish politician has not mentioned her possible husband in any of her interviews. Kezia is sharing a healthy bond with her lesbian partner Ms. Gilruth.
