Alice, the woman with an unwavering will, was born on 9 of February 1944 in Georgia. She was the eight children of her parents Willie Lee Walker(father) and Minnie Lou Tallulah Grant(mother). Because of her brother, she is blind in one eye— he shot Alice with a bebe gun.

Apart from her family talk, she prefers to call the revolutionary communist Fidel Castro as her brother on her facebook.

Alice was in a long-married relationship with a young Jewish civil-rights lawyer Melvyn Rosenman Leventhal. She and her former husband got married in 1967 and together, they got blessed with actress Rebecca Walker in 1969.

However, after nine years of marriage, the couple broke their knot and walked a separate way.

After the divorce, Alice was seen exploring her love life with Robert L. Allen and Tracy Chapman during the 1990s. During her interview with The Guardian in 2006, she was asked about her secretive relationship. The interviewer even asked why she kept quiet about her affair. She jokingly replied, "It was quiet to you maybe but that’s because you didn’t live in our area."

However, no further details were discovered about her affair with Tracy afterward. Any kind of relationship after that time has not been publicly recognized.

It's 2019, Alice is 75 years of age and it seems like she is enjoying her single life.
