Her professional skills are the result of her years-long experience in the media sector. Holding the Department of Natural Resources firefighting, participating in charities and marathons are generally linked with people who indulged in social work. Heather is happily married to her husband, Joseph Krengel. She met her now-husband just months after she moved to NY. The buds of love embarked, and they started dating. Sadly, the two had to remain in a long-distance relationship for two years until they got married.

Heather and Joseph tied the knot on the 1st of July 2015 at the Nicollet Island Pavilion in Minneapolis. At the time of their wedding, they were already parents to their two kids—their first kid was born in 2010 and welcomed their second child in 2014.

Less than a year after their marrige, she and her hubby got blessed with third children on 22nd May 2016. They even shared a happy moment on Facebook, and fans were delighted to see the complete family.

Now, Heather and Joseph, the St. Paul natives, are parenting their three children together. The family of five often spotted exploring parks, lakes, and restaurants in Twin Cities on holidays.

Career In WCCO- Salary

After completing her college, Heather started working at CNBC in LA. There, she produced stories for business news. After spending two years at the location, she headed to Boston and enrolled in the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. She completed her master’s degree in public policy.

Heather covered the 2004 S.C Democratic presidential primary while she worked for WIS in Columbia. She even got an award for the education series that covered the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in Biloxi.

From 2006 to 2010, Heather got associated with WCCO. During that period, she covered some remarkable stories, including the forest fires in the Boundary Waters, the 35W bridge collapse, and the Republican National Convention in St. Paul. Moving on, she returned to WCCO in 2012 after completing her two years at WNYW. Besides that, in the Big Apple, she held the job as a general assignment reporter starting from October 18, 2010.

As for now, Heather is still a part of the organization and hosts the WCCO 4 News at ten every day. In addition to the show, she replaced Jason DeRusha and started co-hosting WCCO MidMorning from May of 2018.
