As per the reports of TMZ, he sadly passed away on Monday morning after he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after he faced health issues. Although the cause of Lee's death has been secluded, he was suffering from several illnesses including pneumonia and vision issues over the past years.

After the death of her dad, Joan Celia, age 68, poured her heartfelt condolence to her late father while speaking with TMZ. She told that her late daddy simply was "the greatest." Growing up in the reverence of her dad's work, Stan has always been an inspiration of Joan. His creativity and work ethics has taught her to be creative and enthusiast. Joan explained,
My father loved all of his fans. He was the greatest, most decent man.
Likewise, in a statement to Reuters, she said,
"He felt an obligation to his fans to keep creating. He loved his life and he loved what he did for a living. His family loved him and his fans loved him. He was irreplaceable."

Back on 6 July 2017, Thursday, Joan Celia Lee's mother, Joan Lee died in Los Angeles, at the age of 93. Her mother reportedly suffered a stroke and was hospitalized.
