In the interview with Dean Unglert, she also cleared the rumors of her affairs with hockey maestro Brendan Gallagher. She said that they weren’t dating and is just friends. Vanessa also added that she would have a lot of boyfriends if she would have dated every guy she went out for a coffee.

Vanessa fell from the sky after her split with ex-fiancé Nick Viall. The duo, who got engaged on 13 March 2017 at the season finale of The Bachelor, announced their break up just five months of their engagement.

During the conversation with PEOPLE magazine in September 2017, she said that she fell hard for Nick which meant that she had heartbreak even harder.

Although Vanessa and Nick were separated, Nick did not miss to congratulate his ex-fiancee and stated that he would love her to be happy. However, there was not enough evidence to prove Vanessa's bond with Peter.
After a year of a split with Nick Viall, Vanessa moved onto another relationship with Josh Wolfe, who is a Canadian businessman and the Director of Outreach and Programming in the Quebec and Atlantic Canadian region for the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs. Vanessa revealed that she was in a happy relationship during iHeart Radio Podcast Awards in January 2019.
Vanessa also took it to her Instagram to announce her relationship with Josh where she uploaded a video and captioned "I steal shirts from my man all the time."
